I take the Flea Vintage U47 for a voice test, I am not a voice actor I am a sound designer, there is little post processing and no effects bar a bit of verb. I didn't do much post work on it. Its pretty much roll up and bump out as is. I like how clean the mic is for a Vintage design, the noise is spread over wide bands rather than concentrated in humz or buzzes like other 47's the noise is low, noise sounds ok/nice and is easy to deal with unlike other 47's often to get this cinematic tone you have to boost the noise that is often unpleasant, this 47 handles it easily.
